This is precisely one of the main themes of the conference organized by the Federation for Transport and Sea Communications (TCM) of UGT held since yesterday and ending today in the Business Jet Center of Los Barrios. In this regard, Hernandez explained that the main objective of the workshop is that the actors in the sector "to assume that most accidents involving road transport professionals are also working." As for the consequences of the classification of these traffic accidents as the union warned that "bypasses the responsibility of the company and the State bears responsibility and expenses that correspond to the companies."
Antonio Cardena, general secretary of TCM-UGT Andalucía, put the alarm on the status of autonomous driving vans. In 2009-last year recorded, accounted for 51% of accidents professionals on the road compared to 48% in 2008. "Transportation is really the professional area recorded more accidents, even above construction, since many of the accidents that occur are counted only as traffic accidents," he said.
Cardeña pointed to the need for greater control over the self, since, for example, the vans are not required to have tachographs.
