ALMERÍA .- CC OO provides courses for professional drivers

The European Community has adopted a new decree that establishes a mandatory training for new drivers get better qualified. It is necessary for drivers of company vehicles. CCOO is providing courses for the Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) initial and Almeria El Ejido, two CAP renewal in the capital and another in Vera.

With the approval of Royal Decree 1032/2007, transposition of Directive 2003/59/EC establishing a new mandatory training for certain professional drivers. With this new formation (Certificate of Professional Competence, CAP) is trying to get better qualified and professional drivers adapted to the new demands of the road transport market and, ultimately, improve quality and safety of the traffic, as the drivers themselves.

This training is mandatory for driving on public roads of company vehicles, whether public or private transport, established in any Member State European Union, to make it mandatory to be in possession of driving licenses in the categories C1, C1, E, C, CE, D1, E, D or D E.

Those drivers who received the card in the case of goods, before September 11, 2009 and in the case of passengers, before September 11, 2008, but have to CAP course of 35 hours without need to go through the "drink" of a test in Transport and also have a transitional period as the termination of your driver's license or ID card. All drivers who have obtained the license after the date referred to above will receive the CAP attending a course of 140 hours and they must also face a test in Transport.
