This letter was published in the Letters section Spectra to the Cartelera Turia this week.

Dear friends of the Cartelera Turia,
am a regular reader and delivered your publication, practically since I live in Valencia (and are over 10 years). Through your pages I could learn more deeply the reality of Valencia. A landscape often hard and difficult, fraught with unscrupulous characters, given the rampant careerism, to the ignominy more crude and offensive. But also and above all a land and people of warmth and unparalleled dignity, a people full of talent and creativity, zest for life, of popular pride and a great responsibility.

come week after week attending the irreverent and stark portrayal of Valencian society that are making from your publication. Often drawing a bleak picture and decadent leftist parties called to meet the demands of democratic regeneration of an important part of the Valencian society. Calls that seem to fall on deaf ears, as many of them demonstrate a remarkable neglect of function, seasoned with a total lack of high-mindedness, generosity, commitment and leadership.

However, I am of the opinion that crush and gloating over and over against them, on the one hand it is unfair to which we are engaging in the task of transformation and regeneration of the parties. And more importantly, you run the risk of deepening the drama and definitely the desire to remove a section of the population still believe it is possible to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Self-mutilation is one of the distinctive treatment of the sociological left, which tends to take refuge in the lamentations and the social and political disaffection. Criticism is necessary and crucial, especially when it is unfounded, as in the present case. But shooting with shrapnel against the same target, as is well known their distress, may not contribute to being able to come to the shelter, weather the storm and baste solvent response. I sincerely hope that in the most complicated is when it requires a positive attitude, to excite and activate citizens to rebuild and reform the party.

not misunderstand me: I ask no complicity or silence, just some more positive ways, less Plumb and tremendous that back the urge to compromise and work to restore hope to those who have lost it. And while avoiding those that are about, do not drop everything and go home. No we can afford, especially at this decisive moment for the future of Valencia and the Valencian Country.
